Sketchbook / notebook / album Scarab

A hand-crafted and hand-bound journal/sketchbook/notebook, made of recycled paper adorned with the motif of the scarab beetle—a symbol of learning, guidance, and the strength to overcome life’s most daunting challenges. This design is also a reflection of the artist’s deep admiration for beetles, those resilient creatures that navigate the world with quiet determination. Interwoven into this rich tapestry are elements inspired by the timeless beauty of stećak carvings, traditional folk embroidery, and the mystical phases of the moon. Each detail tells a story of transformation, resilience, and the cyclical nature of knowledge and existence.

Material: All the sketchbooks are made from recycled paper, which consists of 15% agro-industrial waste and about 40% post-consumer waste recycled fibers, with the remainder coming from responsibly managed FSC-certified forests. The covers are made from natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, and rayon.
