A special place for your heart — and ours.

Bazerdžan was born from an idea to promote Bosnia and Herzegovina’s culture and tradition, as well as to showcase local talent and beauty through creations by domestic artists, designers, and manufacturers. Here, you’ll find things that are made by “contemporary artisans”, individuals, and groups who have a different outlook on life and their surroundings. They combine new trends with authentic symbols and materials that have been a part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s history throughout the centuries.

Let this autumn be about love — the ultimate power there is.

We celebrate it through the story of Arifa’s kilim and proudly present a notebook that brings this power into our everyday lives.

Arifa Šabanović, a master weaver from Srebrenica, owned forty large kilims — all taken from her during the Aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina. In silence and grief, she vowed never to weave again.

Three decades later, she returned to her loom. From her hands emerged a kilim adorned with hearts — her symbol of love that endures and heals. The notebook’s cover reflects the spirit and design of that kilim.

With this edition, Bazerdžan pays tribute to Arifa’s strength and the timeless message of love that transcends pain, loss, and time itself.
